A Psychedelic Journey for Lovers
A Ketamine-Assisted Journey Into Presence, Intimacy & Connection
Beyond Exploration and Into Deeper Connection
Love as Medicine is a ketamine-assisted psychotherapy experience designed for people who value connection, self-discovery, personal growth and meaningful relationships.
Through guided preparation, somatic awareness practices, a supported ketamine journey and integration work, participants are invited to explore the deeper patterns that influence intimacy, communication, vulnerability, trust and connection.
While this is an individual therapeutic experience, many participants attend with a partner because individual healing often creates meaningful shifts in relationships.
Whether you're in a monogamous relationship, an open relationship, practicing consensual non-monogamy, exploring polyamory or creating your own relationship agreements, this experience offers an opportunity to better understand the relationship you bring into every connection.
*Submitting an application does not guarantee attendance. You will complete a screening process and must be approved by the therapist and the prescriber, as some individuals or couples may not qualify based on medical or clinical factors.
This Experience May Be Especially Meaningful If:
-
You value exploration and personal growth but want deeper emotional intimacy
-
You're navigating jealousy, insecurity, comparison or fear of abandonment
-
You're exploring consensual non-monogamy, polyamory or open relationships
-
You want stronger communication and emotional connection
-
You find yourself repeating the same relational patterns
-
You want to feel a deeper connection to yourself and your partner
-
You're curious how ketamine-assisted psychotherapy can support relational healing and growth
Why attend with a partner?
This experience is designed for individuals, but attending with a partner is highly encouraged.
Many people discover that the challenges they encounter in relationships aren't created by the relationship structure itself. They emerge from the fears, wounds, beliefs, attachment patterns and protective strategies we bring into every relationship.
When one partner becomes more aware, more regulated, and more connected to themselves, the relationship often changes as well.
Participants frequently report:
-
Greater emotional openness
-
Increased empathy and understanding
-
More authentic communication
-
Reduced defensiveness
-
Greater emotional safety
-
Deeper intimacy and connection
-
The journey itself is individual but the impact is often relational.

Some of what we'll explore:
Throughout this experience, participants are invited to explore
-
Somatic awareness and embodied mindfulness practices
-
Nervous system regulation and emotional safety
-
Relational patterns and attachment dynamics
-
Vulnerability, trust and emotional intimacy
-
Jealousy, insecurity, comparison and fear of abandonment
-
The connection between self-awareness and relationship satisfaction
-
A supported ketamine-assisted therapeutic journey
-
Integration practices that help transform insight into meaningful change
-
This experience is designed to help you reconnect with yourself through the body, the senses and a more compassionate relationship with your inner world.
-
Because the way we relate to ourselves shapes the way we show up in our relationships.
Why the body matters in this work...
Most relationship challenges don't live only in our thoughts.
They also live in our nervous systems.
The tightening in your chest before a difficult conversation.
The urge to withdraw when you feel vulnerable.
The anxiety that appears when connection feels uncertain.
The protective patterns that emerge when you fear being hurt.
These experiences are not simply thoughts to think differently about. They are experiences happening within the body.
That's why Love as Medicine combines ketamine-assisted psychotherapy with somatic and embodied practices designed to help participants reconnect with themselves in a deeper way.
Throughout the experience, you'll be invited to slow down, connect with your senses, listen to your body's wisdom, and explore the ways your nervous system shapes how you love and connect. There will also be invitations to do sensual embodied work with a partner.

The Research Behind This Work
Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) has been widely studied for its impact on depression, trauma and emotional regulation. More recently, researchers have begun exploring how these internal shifts affect relationships and relational functioning.
Research suggests that ketamine can temporarily increase neuroplasticity, allowing the brain to become more flexible and open to new perspectives and patterns.
Emerging research on ketamine-assisted relational and couples work suggests improvements in communication, emotional openness, empathy, relationship satisfaction and the ability to navigate difficult relational dynamics.
Read the research:
While ketamine can create the conditions for insight and change, meaningful transformation happens through preparation, integration and the willingness to bring those insights back into everyday life and relationships. Read more about the research here.

The Relationship Beneath the Lifestyle
Many people discover that relationship growth doesn't end when they find the right partner, explore new experiences or create a relationship structure that aligns with their values.
In fact, those experiences often reveal new opportunities for growth.
Questions like:
-
Why do I struggle with jealousy even when I believe in what we're creating?
-
Why do I sometimes feel disconnected despite having loving relationships?
-
Why is vulnerability harder than I expected?
-
Why do certain situations activate fear, insecurity, or comparison?
-
Why do I keep repeating the same patterns across different relationships?
These questions aren't signs that something is wrong. Instead they're actually invitations to deeper self-understanding.
Love as Medicine for LS creates space to explore these experiences with curiosity, compassion and support... helping you better understand the emotional, relational and nervous system patterns that shape how you connect with yourself and others.
